CLEGHORN, WILTON & ASSOCIATES, DUBAI, was established in the UAE in 1976 and is recognized as a highly professional marine survey and industrial services Company.Services are provided over a wide range in the marine survey and technical consultancy fields for both local and international clients. Our clients include principal shipping agents, Lloyd’s Agents, Protection & Indemnity Associations, hull, cargo and machinery underwriters, ship owners, charterers, lawyers, classification societies, ship repair companies and shore based industry.

The Company has a well-appointed office located in a prestigious area of Dubai in close proximity to the port and local shipping agencies.The Company is registered in Dubai as a foreign branch with the UAE Ministry of Economy and Commerce and registered as Loss Adjusters. The personnel are retained as marine experts by the UAE Courts.

We are non-exclusive surveyors to Bureau Veritas, R.I.N.A., NK Class and Germanischer Lloyd and are appointed Nautical Inspectors to the Liberian, Marshall Islands, Antigua and Barbuda W.I, Caribbean Island and UAE Governments. We are agents for the Republics of Liberia & Marshall Islands Bureau of Maritime Affairs, New York, for vessel registrations. Cleghorn, Wilton & Associates are approved to issue safe for entry, gas free and hot work certificates, Magnetic Compass Deviation Cards & Condition Surveys for issuance of Navigation Licenses for all types and sizes of tankers and other vessels in Dubai and other ports of the UAE we are also approved by the Dubai Municipality for witnessing load test of Lifting Equipment.
