Unlocking a daily aquatic bounty of 150,000 m³ of pure, drinkable water is no small feat. How, you ask? Well, behold the marvel of three floating seawater desalination barges armed with state-of-the-art reverse osmosis (RO) technology.
These floating wonders are the backbone of this aqua endeavor, tirelessly churning out potable water 24/7, 365 days a year, with a commitment to never drop below a 95% yearly availability rate. Impressive, right?
But that's not all. These desalination workhorses are no flash in the pan. They're in it for the long haul, with a whopping 20-year lifetime, all without the need for dry docking.
And to ensure uninterrupted water wizardry, our barges come prepared. They boast a one-month fuel oil storage capacity, guaranteeing a full month of operation for both the desalination plant and its trusty auxiliaries.
As if that wasn't enough, we've got the chemicals covered too. The storage for seawater desalination and post-treatment chemicals is sized to match a month's worth of supply at the nominal Product Water (PW) capacity.
So, in a nutshell, we've got the water, the tech, and the longevity to keep the H2O flowing, providing you with clean, crisp water whenever and wherever you need it.

The construction yard and fabrication plan for the Dubai Maritime City (DMC) project were determined by Metito and designated as Premier Marine, Dubai. Comprehensive surveys were conducted at the yard in accordance with the Approved Inspection and Test Plan (AITP), covering various disciplines, under the supervision of DNV (Det Norske Veritas), a globally recognized classification and certification society.
Additionally, mooring verification activities were performed at the Shuqaiq, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), ensuring the secure anchoring and positioning of maritime assets in accordance with established standards and safety protocols. These meticulous procedures and assessments underscore the commitment to quality, safety, and precision in the execution of the DMC project.
