Cleghorn, Wilton & Associates (CWA) Ltd was established as a Marine Surveying company in the U.A.E circa 1976. At the time, CWA primarily served a large base of National & International clients for their audits and inspections.

In 1999, Ch.Eng Sunil Jaitly signed off his last ship and joined CWA as a marine surveyor.

 

After being promoted to General Manager in 2002, he started to diversify CWA’s service portfolio by offering flag state inspections.

 

In 2004, Ch.Eng Jaitly bought complete shareholding in CWA Dubai.

 

After becoming one of the largest marine surveying and auditing companies in the UAE. CWA expanded into the Offshore structural design, engineering, and analysis field for the Oil & Gas Industry.

 

It did not stop at offshore design; CWA continually strives to grow in all sectors of the Maritime Industry with emphasis on the decarbonization of the world’s merchant fleet and environmental offsets.
